Treasure Baskets

Treasure baskets are aimed towards babies who are sitting and not yet walking. They provide natural exploration of the environment by providing a multitude of sensory objects which stimulate brain activity

Heuristic Play

Heuristic Play is an extension of treasure baskets and seeks to provide further opportunity for young children to make connections with their environment whilst learning about many concepts/ideas which enhance their understanding of their surrounding world.

Library Kits

20 Storytelling kits were developed in conjunction with Logan City Libraries. Each of the kits focuses on a different area of interest to children, and contains a range of books and resources to support this interest.

4th Trimester

The 4th Trimester is a visual depiction of the first 12 weeks of life and provides parents/practitioners with a resource that illustrates both visually and in writing, the practicalities of caring for a child in this early phase of life. The pack is made up of 17 spiral bound cards and includes information on breast feeding, bottle feeding, sleeping, wrapping and swaddling, bathing and hygiene, cord care, nappy changing, crying and setting and much more.

Recipe Books

Taking the Blues out of Eating Greens is a recipe book containing easy to prepare, cost-effective meals that the whole family will love.

The Puree Recipe Book has information and guidance on how and when to introduce solids to a baby, as wells as simple baby food ideas to make at home.

Tip Sheets

A number of tip sheets have been developed on topics that have been identified by both parents and practitioners.  These include ways to encourage toilet training and how to handle fussy eaters, and well as general parenting hints and tips.

Story Swags

Story Swags© is an exciting language and cognitive development tool for parents and caregivers of children 0-5. on conclusion of the six week program, parents come away with a swag consisting of a decorated calico bag designed and painted by them, a good quality children’s book, a CD of the book being read aloud, small world creatures and animals, games (matching and memory etc) all self made, and a list of fun activities to do with children.

Emotions in Motion

Emotions in Motion is a practical session on how to understand and support emotional development well-being and resilience in infants and toddlers. It is a fun and interactive session that gives practical examples of how to lay the foundations of emotional well-being through building trusting relationships. This equips children to be able to express themselves appropriately through actions and interactions whilst building coping mechanisms and resilience.

A music program for infants and toddlers – full of fun and interactive ideas.
