Salvation Army bands are a popular feature of many community Christmas events.
Every Christmas, the Salvos strike up the band to spread some Christmas cheer and share the good news about Jesus.
Woolworths Carols in the Domain

Public catering and the event carnival commences from 12pm, with pre-show entertainment on stage from 3pm. The concert itself will commence at 8.30pm and conclude at 11pm.
Woolworths Carols in the Domain is Australia’s largest, and one of Sydney’s most loved, Christmas events. Every year tens of thousands of people come together to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, whilst raising funds for The Salvation Army. Those who can’t make it to the Domain can enjoy this spectacular concert right across Australia on the Seven Network.
This year marks the 29th year of Carols in the Domain concert. The 2011 concert promises to be even more spectacular with an exciting line-up of Australia’s most talented performers and most loved personalities. Keep an eye on the carols website - carolsinthedomain.com - as the event draws nearer for all of the latest news and announcements, including the unveiling of this year's performers.

A fire truck will be on site and photo opportunities will be available. It's a great evening for the young and young at heart :-) | |
