Job Opportunity: Administration

Assistant/Receptionist

Are you interested in using your administration and customer service skills to support the Canberra City Corps?

Canberra City Corps is seeking a motivated person to fill the part time position of Administration Assistant/Receptionist providing support to the Corps Officers and staff. This is a part time position working 15 hours per week and will be offered on a contract basis from February to December 2012. Flexible hours may be offered e.g. work in school hours for 3 days/week.

Selection criteria:

A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army and an ability to offer pastoral assistance.
Administration/Business Certificate would be well regarded.
Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact positively with a variety of people.
Able to use Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
Previous experience working in administration or reception is desirable.
