Canberra Recovery Services

Canberra Recovery Services is a long term residential Bridge program, for men with Alcohol, Drug and Gambling addiction. The program is run by the Salvation Army and based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Gamblers Anonymous.

The CRS participants are an important part of our Church community. It is always a blessing and encourgement, to the whole church family, to share in their journey, see them progress through various program milestones, graduate and begin a new life.

The Salvation Army Canberra City supports the Recovery program and its participants, both past and present, by sharing in Sunday Worship Meetings and Tuesday CRS CHapel, as well as various programs during the week.

The process for entering Canberra Recovery Services is through assessment between a case worker and the person intending to enter the program. Two ways for assessment are in person or over the phone. An appointment is necessary in either case.

Contact Canberra Recovery Sevices on (02) 6295-1256 to organise an appointment or make further enquiries.
