Youth Refuge

 

Assisting young people aged 16-24 with crisis accommodation and supported living.

The Youth Refuge is crisis accomodation for young people who are experiencing homelessness between the ages of 16-21.
This supported accommodation can be provided for up to 6 weeks.

There are also external units for young people and families who are experiencing homelessness between the ages 18-24.
This supported accommodation can be provided for up to 12 weeks.

There is a small cost for board and lodgings / rent which varies depending on a young person's income.

What we can offer you to assist you to get back on your feet.

  • Assistance in your search for full-time, stable accommodation
  • Access to the Tom Quinn Community Centre offering:
     -  Youth Programs
     -  Work Experience
     -  Counselling and Chaplaincy
     -  Visiting Legal Service

 

To be eligible you must be:

  • Aged between 16-24
  • Experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless
