Food Safety Supervisor Training

**NOW COMPULSORY**
 

Food Amendment (Food Safety Supervisors) Act 2009 introduced mandatory food handling training to help safeguard NSW consumers from food borne illness.

The new legislation requires certain hospitality and retail food service businesses to appoint at least one trained Food Safety Supervisor (FSS)

BOOTH COLLEGE has been approved by the NSW Food Authority to deliver the required units of competence for this course - Application No. 24311

To become a qualified Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) you can complete the following units of competence through Booth College either on-line or face to face in selected areas:

  • SITXFSA001A  Implement food safety procedures
  • SITXOHS002A Follow workplace hygiene (Safe food handling)
