Living all on one site, the staff and students create a Christian community atmosphere that is unique. It is in this community environment that lifelong relationships are built and Christian living is modelled.
Bedrooms are dormitory style which are shared with a few other students of the same sex. Each student has their own wardrobe and bedside table.
Most of the bedrooms have million-dollar lake views!
Meal times are an important part of every day, eating and sharing in fellowship around the table. Design your own sandwich for lunch while main meals on week nights are cooked for students, as well as Sunday lunch. Students are on a roster for meal set up and clean up duties. On weekends students can cook for themselves in the School's kitchen.
Daily Domestic Stewardship time helps to keep the School clean and tidy. Each student is also responsible for keeping their own bedroom and belongings clean and tidy. For those students who have not lived away from home before they will quickly learn the life skills needed to look after themselves and the space they live in.
The School has many common areas and space for students to hang out together or to escape for some quiet time alone with God.
Weekly small groups further increase the opportunity for encouragement and accountability as students learn, discover and grow together.
Living, eating, learning, working and growing together as a group just as the disciples and early Christian church did is an experience that changes every students life and that is never forgotten.
Facilities: What Is There?
Being a residential school the dorm-style accommodation, catering and classroom arrangements are all on one site. Bathrooms are located inside and out.
There are library facilities available which students may access for further study and reading. The library has a number of computers which students may use to do research and complete assessment tasks.
Located on the shores of Lake Munmorah, our campus has its own jetty, kayaks, games room and trampolines! A great setting for quiet times and kayaking at sunset. Nearby are walking paths, surf beaches and a national park.
For recreation students have access to supplied sports equipment for activities both on the lake and the foreshores.
The games room with pool table and table tennis table is place to have some fun, or to work out on the weights bench and boxing bags.
Fitness & Training is becoming more apart of the students living & lifesyle. We help them maintain a healthy & active lifesyle whilst as the School.
