On Sunday 13th November, over 230 friends and family filled Long Jetty Salvation Army to celebrate as 10 students graduated from the School for Youth Leadership.
There was an air of excitement and praise as the congregation worshipped together.
Tamara Lloyd, Simon Hungerford and Melinda Kasuso testified how God had impacted them through their time at the school. Samantha Searle and Danielle Weedon presented multimedia clips of the school and the transformation of each of the students.
The students spoke about their experiences at the school. They shared how they have grown and experienced many things this year and have been challenged, stretched, and tested.
Commissioner Jan Condon presented the students with their Certificates and challenged everyone to live without excuses.
The School for Youth Leadership’s purpose to train, disciple and equip young people for a lifestyle of ministry and mission was evident in the afternoon.
Applications are still available for 2012 and are open to all young adults 18-28 years single or married (without children). Please call 0243588886 or download an Application form for more information.
