OASIS - Surry Hills
Through partnerships with Booth College, Oasis Youth Support Network & Streetlevel Mission, the 2010 Edify program will see the Certificate IV in Youth Work delivered in the context of The Salvation Army's presence in the inner-city - The Oasis Youth Support Network as well as Streetlevel Church and Community Centre, both in Surry Hills.

Oasis and Streetlevel were featured in the critically acclaimed 2008 documentary, 'The Oasis'. Students will not only receive relevant classroom training, but will also have the advantage of putting their skills and knowledge into practice at every opportunity due to the proximity of the services in which the course is delivered.
The Edify program is primarily be responsible for the delivery of the course. Edify offers two pathways in regards to the Certificate IV in Youth Work:
- Firstly, as part of a residential Internship, offering the chance for applicants to not only study towards a Certificate IV in Youth Work in context, but to live on-site at Streetlevel for 10 months as a member of the community, as well as being discipled and mentored;
- or, for those who do not see the residential Internship as a viable option, the Cert IV in Youth Work is also delivered as classes and practicums three days per week.
