27th December 2011

The Salvation Army Bellarine Peninsula is proud to announce the enrolment of six new activists into its ranks, four new Junior Soldiers and two new Adherents

With the Army only being on the Bellarine for just under two years it's excited to have an extra 6 members actively involved in caring for the community.

"These new members will be powerful assets for The Salvation Army as they live out the love of God in their communities around the Bellarine. We are so proud of these guys and we pray God's blessing on them and ask that Jesus will use them to be comfort, encouragement, and hope to their social networks and wider community." Says Corps Officer Lt Peter Hobbs.

As The Salvation Army continues to expand around the Bellarine, Officers Lieutenant's Peter and Diane Hobbs trust the community will have some peace of mind knowing there is an active army loving and caring for people in the community.
