For people struggling with Alcohol and Drug addictions we have the The Geelong Withdrawal Unit, located in Corio.

The Geelong Withdrawal Unit is a 12 bed, medically assisted community based, residential drug and alcohol withdrawal unit.  The Unit offers an average 6 night detoxification stay for person’s 18 years or over, who are medically and psychiatrically stable and are not pregnant.  Once a person has been admitted to the Unit, they may then apply for stage 2 and 3 of the extended recovery program.
