Studio 47 is our own home grown film school, which runs Monday nights 6:30-7:30pm in the Ivanhoe Place Estate Community Room (1 Ivanhoe Place Estate)
We run a cafe each week which we would love you to enjoy. It has a relaxed atmosphere and everything is free! You can choose from a range of Fair trade gourmet espresso coffees (such as lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolates) and cakes and pattisserie treats from our amazing sponsors Cafe2U, Belaroma Coffee and McIntoshes cakes. Computers with internet access are also available during Cafe.47. Cafe.47 is held every Wednesday from 10am to 12midday.
Study Shed is a place of great learning and fun for any school aged kids (kindy to year 12). At Study Shed you will find:
Study Shed is on every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4pm to 5.30pm.
In 2008 The Salvation Army commissioned its first Fair Trade Social Justice Cafe Van. The vehicle operating under the services of No. 47 will ensure better outreach services to residents in need, as well as raise awareness on key issues of injustice in the community.
The vehicle will be used in public awareness campaigns in high schools, malls etc. and will address injustice in international trading practices, promote fair trade products and educate on the issue of human trafficking.
No. 47 has chaplaincy services at Ryde Secondary College and Ryde Public school. We also offer focus days and seminars to secondary schools:

No. 47 offers assistance to young people by acting as a responsible adult and support person. We attend police cells and juvenile detention facilities as advocates for youth. We can participate in youth conferencing with offenders, victims and law enforcement departments. We also offer access to free legal representation and provide legal advice as necessary (appointment required).
Seeing the need to reach out to youth in the Ryde community, No. 47 has just commenced a youth outreach program which will run each fortnight on a Thursday evening. Contact No. 47 for further information.
Street basketball is for teenagers/high-schoolers only and is held every Wednesday from 7:30pm to 8.30pm.

Playtime in the Park happens Monday Mornings 10:30am til 12midday and is an outdoor playgroup for bubs under 5yrs of age with a carer (mums, dads grandparents etc). Lots of fun play, craft and morning tea provided. Its located in the Park at the bottom of Ivanhoe Place (Just near No.47)

Time to serve is an awesome opportunity to get your sleeves rolled up and work along side other volunteers doing small jobs, handiman work, graffiti removal and even furniture removal.
