Mission Priorities

In looking at the strategic directions for The Salvation Army consideration has been given to:

  • The work of earlier consultative conferences
  • The work of reference groups Mission Committee
  • The voices of staff and soldiers (from surveys and submissions)
  • Special surveys (including NCLS 2006 survey) Salvation Army history and heritage

In many ways, 2020 builds on and brings together groundbreaking initiatives introduced over recent years and the faithful ministry and service of many decades.

A Vision for 2020

By the year 2020 we see a growing dynamic Salvation Army – relevant and mission-focused – where our mission priorities are a reality!
